Destroyer of Death, he is embodiment of total wrath.Yamantaka is a fierce form of the Bodhisattva Manjushri. He takes on this form to defeat Yama, the god of death. By overcoming Yama, he breaks the cycle of rebirths (samsara) that stops people from reaching enlightenment. Yamantaka has blue skin and shares many features with Mahakala.
