Garuda
In Tibetan Buddhism, the Garuda is seen as a protective image of the Garuda as one of the four dignities—the four creatures representing the qualities of the Wind horse. They are commonly depicted on prayer flags, which flutter in the wind in high places so that the prayers written on them can be spread to the whole world. The Garuda is also a yidam, especially in the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism, which prescribes important specifications about his colour and implements so that the practitioner can visualise the Garuda completely. In Hindu iconography, Garuda is the vehicle of Vishnu. In Buddhism, he is the vehicle of Amoghasiddhi.

The natural Pigment Painting measures 17.5 Inches by 12.5 Inches, with an additional silk Thangka bordering it.
